Background
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced GP to join a highly regarded, close-knit practice with a genuine route to Partnership. With a long-standing Salaried GP relocating, the practice is seeking a committed clinician who is keen to become an integral part of the team and play a key role in its future direction.

Benefit from a manageable workload (27 patients/day), a generous sessional rate and a remote non-Clinical session each week too.

Location

  • Near Stone
  • Easily commutable from Stafford and Stoke
  • On-site parking available for staff

The Practice

  • Small, well-established practice with an excellent local reputation
  • High QOF achievement and “Good” CQC rating
  • Stable and experienced GP team with strong leadership
  • Supportive, multi-disciplinary team including Nurses, Pharmacist, Mental Health Practitioners and more
  • Dispensing practice with a strong focus on patient care
  • EMIS clinical system
  • Friendly, community-focused environment with regular informal team interaction

Your role

  • Salaried GP with a clear and structured view to Partnership
  • Ideally 8 sessions (7 clinical, 1 non-clinical)
  • Circa 27 patients per day with a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations
  • 10-minute appointments (flexibility for 15-minutes where preferred)
  • Minimal home visits, well-supported by wider clinical team
  • Duty doctor on a rota basis
  • Opportunity to contribute to the business and strategic direction of the practice
  • Encouraged to bring ideas and be an active, visible member of the team

Salary and Benefits

  • £11,800 – £12,500 per session depending on experience
  • Indemnity and GMC fees paid
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • 1 week study leave + regular CPD/PLT
  • BMA model contract
  • Additional income for extended hours
  • Non-Clinical session each week (remote working)

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
