Location

The practice is based in Clapham, one of South West London’s most popular residential areas, close to Clapham Common and within walking distance of Clapham South underground station. Central London is around 20 minutes away by tube, with Wandsworth and Brixton both under a 10 minute drive, giving easy access to a wide range of shopping, dining and leisure.

The Practice

• Well established GP training practice, with GP trainers and registrars on site
• Genuinely light admin burden, with the majority of incoming documents dealt with before they reach a GP
• Very low home visiting workload, averaging under one visit per GP per week
• Large practice with a genuinely mixed patient population, without the heavy interpreter demand often seen elsewhere in London
• Strong partnership team and large salaried GP team, offering a broad range of clinical experience and support
• Excellent staff retention, with most departures driven by relocation rather than dissatisfaction
• Rated Good by the CQC

Your Role

• Permanent role offering 4 to 6 sessions per week
• Total triage model, with one ring-fenced follow-up slot per session that only you can book into
• No requirement to cover extended hours
• Genuine flexibility to develop a special interest, get involved in PCN or LMC work, or build a portfolio career
• Full days preferred, with Friday cover essential to the rota
• Please note there is no route to partnership with this recruitment
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List

Salary and Benefits

• Sessional rate of £12,036–£12,457 per session per annum
• NHS Pension scheme
• Professional fees covered
• Enhanced maternity leave of 18 weeks
• 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, plus 2 additional statutory days
• 1 week study leave in addition to annual leave
