Clinical Lead

This is a practice that has invested seriously in its clinical infrastructure — with dedicated pharmacists, trained medical assistants and a robust multi-disciplinary team — meaning GPs can focus on what they do best. The practice sits within a larger GP-led organisation with a strong track record, a clear vision and all sites rated Good by the CQC. Salary — £12,500–13,500 per session (negotiable for exceptional leadership experience) + PMS model contract + 6 weeks annual leave + 5 days study leave

Location — South Norwood, SE25 — close to the high street and leisure centre, with excellent transport links across South London

The surgery —

• Part of a well-established, GP-led primary care group (10 practices, all CQC Good)
• 15,000-patient shared-list model

Your role —

• Clinical Lead GP
• 6 sessions per week
• 10-minute appointments; 15 patient contacts per session
• Duty/triage days alternating with clinical sessions (typically 1–2 per week)
• Clinical oversight and pastoral support for a team of approximately 5 salaried GPs plus ANPs, physician associates, nurses and HCAs
• Reports to the medical director with structured mentorship provided
• Friday fixed session; flexibility on remaining days
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
