Salaried GP – £12,300 per session | Structured 25 patients/day | Minimal visits

A well-established GP Training Practice in the Redruth area is seeking a Salaried GP for 4–6 sessions. This is a strong opportunity for a GP looking for a well-structured, sustainable workload with excellent MDT support, minimal home visits, and a genuine focus on continuity of care.

Salary & Benefits

• £12,300 per session (established GP rate; slightly lower for newly qualified GPs)
• 6 weeks annual leave
• 1 week study leave

Workload & Structure

• 4–6 sessions available
• 25 appointments per day, all 15-minute slots
• Mix of telephone and face-to-face consultations based on patient preference
• No traditional duty doctor requirement
• One triage session per week
• Home visits kept to a minimum
• No visits on routine days
• One dedicated visiting session per fortnight
• AI-supported triage system to help manage demand effectively
• Optional flexibility around session timings (including later starts)

The Practice

• Established GP Training Practice with registrars, medical students and student nurses
• Purpose-built premises offering a well-organised and modern working environment
• Highly supportive multidisciplinary team, including:
• GP-level ANPs
• Specialist nurses (cardiac, diabetes, women’s health)
• First Contact Practitioners
• Full pharmacy and pharmacy technician team
• EMIS Web clinical system
• Varied patient demographic providing a broad and interesting clinical mix
• Strong team culture with protected daily coffee breaks, including a whole-practice morning break

Additional Opportunities

• Support for developing special interests, including:
• Minor surgery
• Joint injections
• Coil fitting

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
