Salaried GP

Background –

This is a rare opportunity to join a stable, respected GP Training Practice, conveniently located in Andover and within easy reach of the likes of Newbury, Salisbury, Basingstoke and Winchester.
We have recruited for this practice for a number of years, receiving excellent feedback from the GPs we have placed there, one of whom has gone on to become a Partner.

The practice offers a fair and reasonable workload with flexibility around start and finish times. Staff retention is also very high, leading to very close relationships between colleagues.

Salary – from £11,500 per session

Location – Andover

The surgery –

• GP Training practice
• Stable team of Partners and Salaried GPs
• Partner-owned purpose-built premises
• Partner-owned pharmacy
• Support from specialist prescribing nurses
• Great feedback GPs previously recruited
• Younger population with below average numbers of elderly

Your role –

• Salaried GP – 4-5 sessions per week
• 15-minute appointments
• Virtually no home visits
• Team approach to on-call – no solo working
• Opportunity to develop specialisms and take on extra responsibilities
• No enhanced access/extended hours
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
