Learn MoreJob Summary:
Are you a patient-focused, motivated Family Physician looking to join a large, well-established, multidisciplinary clinic in the Greater Toronto Area? This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-based organisation that prioritises quality of care over volume. With a substantial existing patient base, strong clinical support, and flexible working models, this role offers long-term stability and career development in a modern primary care setting.
The Practice:
Our client operates a highly regarded, multi-site medical group across Toronto, including a large flagship clinic in Scarborough and additional sites in Northern Toronto serving semi-rural and retirement-focused communities. The Scarborough clinic employs approximately 60 staff, including 25 GPs, and supports an established patient population of 15,000–20,000. Physicians typically manage patient rosters of 4,000–5,000 and are supported by Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners who handle administrative and preventive care, enabling GPs to focus on clinical decision-making and patient care.
The clinics are allied health-focused and multi-purpose, with opportunities to offer specialist services and utilise extended GP skillsets. The organisation is also developing a future private (“VIP”) clinic model. This is a highly team-oriented and diverse workplace, with clinicians ranging from newly qualified doctors to very experienced Family Physicians.
Benefits:
Location Overview:
Scarborough is a vibrant and culturally diverse area of Toronto, offering excellent transport links, waterfront parks along Lake Ontario, and a wide range of family-friendly neighbourhoods. With strong demand for primary care services, a diverse patient population, and access to all the amenities of Canada’s largest city, Scarborough provides an outstanding location for Family Physicians seeking professional growth, stability, and an excellent quality of life.
