Learn MoreJob Summary
An excellent opportunity for a GP to join a modern, well-established family practice located in a rapidly expanding area on the edge of a major metropolitan region within the Hunter area. Surrounded by new residential developments and strong infrastructure growth, the clinic is experiencing significant patient demand driven by young families, working professionals, and an established elderly population. This role is ideal for a GP seeking high earning potential, a supportive and experienced team, and the opportunity to develop special clinical interests within a busy, community-focused environment.
The Practice
This accredited training practice currently has six doctors (with plans to expand to eight including a registrar) supported by three nurses and a dedicated administrative team. The clinic features seven consulting rooms and two fully equipped procedure rooms, with two rooms currently vacant and ready for new GPs. One longstanding GP is retiring in October, with a predominantly elderly patient base ready to transition to a new doctor. The practice operates from a convenient shopping centre location, serving as a key healthcare hub for surrounding suburban and semi-rural communities. It has a strong local reputation, excellent online reviews, and is located close to highly regarded public and private schools, making it attractive for families relocating to the area. Clinically, the environment is versatile and forward-thinking. The clinic supports training and development in areas such as skin procedures, mental health, and gynaecology, with dedicated rooms allocated specifically for skin work to maximise efficiency and revenue. Appointments are typically 15 minutes, with most GPs seeing 30–35 patients per day, though higher volumes are achievable depending on preference.
