Locum GP – Coastal Kent

This is an excellent opportunity for a Locum GP to join a forward-thinking, innovative coastal practice on either an ad-hoc or longer-term basis. The practice is seeking cover for specific ad hoc dates initially including 31st March and 7th, 20th, 22nd and 28th April, with the potential for longer- term requirement of 6 sessions a week beyond this.
 
Salary – £700-£750 per day
Location – Coastal Kent
 
The surgery –

• Mid-sized practice
• Coastal Kent location, just moments from the beach
• Forward-thinking and supportive GP Partners
• Stable and experienced clinical team
• EMIS Web
• Efficient triage system via Anima
• Minimal home visits, typically covered by the PCN team
• Good transport links across Kent and to London

Your role –

• Locum GP requirement covering ad-hoc dates: 31st March and 7th, 20th, 22nd, 28th April
• Potential longer-term requirement for 2–3 days per week ideally Monday,Thursday, Friday
• 08:30 – 18:30 working day, with some flexibility
• 12 patients per session
• Shared admin for longer-term placements, not essential for ad-hoc dates
• Home visits rare as covered by PCN team
• Ideally participating in Duty rota for longer term cover
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
