Locum GP, Bury St Edmunds

Background –

We have an excellent opportunity for a Locum GP to support a well-established practice in Bury St Edmunds between April and August. The practice can offer a range of sessions depending on your availability.

There is potential for ongoing ad hoc or regular locum work beyond August.

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team including GPs, ACPs, Nurses, Paramedics and Clinical Pharmacists.

Salary – £700–£725 per day
Location – Bury St Edmunds

The surgery –
• Purpose-built modern practice building
• GP Training practice
• CQC Good
• c.12,500 patients
• SystmOne
• Anima

Your role –
• Locum GP
• Sessions available between April–August
• Opportunity for ongoing ad hoc or regular work
• 8:30am – 6:00pm
• Duty GP days also required (duty until 6:30pm)
• Use of Anima for patient triage
• 28 appointments per day
• 15-minute F2F / 10-minute telephone appointments
• Occasional home visits (rare)
• Self-generated admin, plus med reviews, urgent bloods and messages
• Must be GMC registered and on the UK Performers List
