Specialist hormone health care is one of the fastest growing areas of private medicine in the UK, and this provider sits right at the centre of it. Patients travel nationally, and in some cases internationally, to be seen here, and the clinic is recruiting at pace to keep up with demand. This is a genuine opportunity to build deep, focused expertise in menopause, perimenopause, PMS, PMDD and wider hormone health, away from the pressures of a traditional GP list.

Location

This is a national role, with dedicated, on-site posts in Stratford-upon-Avon, London (Marylebone), Altrincham and Edinburgh. Stratford-upon-Avon is under 40 minutes from Warwick, Leamington Spa and Birmingham. The London site is in Marylebone, with strong rail and underground links across the capital and the Home Counties. Altrincham is close to Manchester city centre and Stockport, and Edinburgh is well connected to Glasgow and the Lothians.

The Practice

• One of the best known and busiest specialist providers in this field, with a fast-growing national patient base
• Large, well established clinical team, with structured mentoring, monthly multidisciplinary team meetings and strong peer support
• In-house research and education, including dedicated researchers and published peer reviewed work

Your Role

• Hybrid working, with two to three days face to face and remote days built in on top
• A maximum of four new patients a day, typically around eight patients in total, with admin time built into every appointment
• 45 minutes face to face with every new patient and 30 minutes with every follow up
• No duty doctor, no on call, no home visits and no weekend or extended hours requirement
• Structured induction, a named mentor from day one and ongoing monthly MDT support

Requirements

• Must be a Menopause and Hormone Health Specialist Clinician.
• At least 12 months post CCT.

Salary and Benefits

• £14,070 per session (10 sessions per week), equivalent to £140,700 per annum FTE
• Indemnity, employer’s and public liability cover paid in full by the clinic
• Pension contributions of 6% employer and 4% employee on qualifying earnings
• 33 days’ annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
• 8 days’ study leave, plus an additional day for the annual conference

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
