Background

This is an opportunity to join a well-organised, single-site practice in Bradford, taking on a broad general caseload with a strong focus on women’s health. The practice runs on trust rather than close supervision, with genuine flexibility over hours and a realistic partnership route in the next few years.

Location

The practice is based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with good access to the motorway network and public transport links. Leeds is around 20 minutes away by car, Halifax around 20 minutes, and Keighley around 15 minutes.

The Practice

• Modern, purpose-built single-site health centre, currently being refurbished, with every clinician getting their own consulting room
• Broad multidisciplinary team including advanced nurse practitioners and allied health professionals
• Dedicated admin team filters correspondence, so GPs only see what genuinely needs clinical input
• No enhanced access requirement, as evening and weekend cover is delivered by separate local services
• Strong partnership team, with a realistic partnership route as the current senior Partner looks towards retirement in the next few years, though this is not a condition of the role
• CQC rated Good across every domain

Your Role

• 6 to 8 sessions per week, with either Monday or Friday required
• Time-tested and proven structure to the clinic templates
• Genuine flexibility over start and finish times, based on trust rather than close monitoring
• One duty day a week, with urgent same-day slots built into the schedule and home visits actively protected wherever possible

Salary and Benefits

• £12,000 to £12,500 per session
• Professional fees covered
• NHS Pension scheme
• 33 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pro rata for part-time sessions
• 5 days study leave, pro rata
• SystmOne clinical system

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
