Background

Location

The practice is based in Redruth, Cornwall, within easy reach of Truro, around fifteen minutes away by car, Falmouth, around twenty minutes away, and Camborne, around five minutes away, making it a convenient base for GPs relocating from across the South West or further afield.

The Practice

• GP Training and research practice
• Large partnership team and large salaried GP team, with excellent retention
• Supported by Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, a Minor Illness team and a large Pharmacy team
• Dispensing practice
• Innovative use of the Klinik AI consultation platform
• Rated Good by the CQC, with Outstanding recognition in parts of the last inspection

Your Role

• Salaried GP role, with partnership potential in the future
• Four or more sessions per week
• A genuinely manageable workload of around twenty patients per day, plus five protected continuity slots that only GPs can book
• Daily coffee break with the whole clinical team
• No home visits as part of the normal working day
• No evenings or weekends
• Specialist interests actively encouraged

Salary and Benefits

• £12,500 per session
• Professional fees covered

• 6 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays
• 1 week study leave
• NHS pension

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
