Salaried GP

Background

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Salaried GP to work in a medium sized surgery, which has a good CQC report and is very ambitious for it’s future. They have a full complement of healthcare professionals and pride themselves on their open and friendly team – a good natured personality is a must! The vacancy has only arisen as they are looking to replace locum staff.

The experienced GP Partnership are looking for a lovely GP for 6-7 sessions per week. Moreover, they are looking for a personable doctor to join part of this welcoming and friendly team. They have minimal staff turnover.

Appointments are 15 minutes long with 12 patient contacts per session. GPs will have 1-2 home visits per day as the demographic skews more towards the elderly local population. The service benefits from having fantastic triage and administration support using SystemOne and Anima.  

The working days are negotiable. They practice are also looking for someone who is able to start ASAP, but they can be flexible for the right person.

The clinical and non-clinical teams are long-standing, compassionate and understand the needs of their patients. They are incredibly supportive, coherent, and forward-thinking.

Location – Banbury

Your role –

• 6-7 sessions
• Controlled workload – 24 total contacts, including face to face and telephone appointments. All appointments are 15 minutes long.
• Working closely with a long standing team and 3 experienced GP partners and 1 GP.
• Opportunities to develop special interests.
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
