Locum Clinical Pharmacist Role – Maternity Cover – Cheshire

A PCN based in the Cheshire area are looking for maternity cover support, from a locum Clinical Pharmacist. This is a great opportunity to support and join a great practice based in the Northwest.

The practice is ideally looking for full time hours across the week but there is some flexibility with this and would be looking for the cover to start ASAP. The cover needed would be for 6 months but will be reviewed to see if this may need to be extended.

The locum cover will mainly be onsite, but there may be some days you are requested to work remotely from one of the other practice sites. You must have either completed the CPPE Pathway or be working towards it.

Salary – £32 – 38p/h

Location – Cheshire area

The surgery –

• EMIS Practice
• Practices open between 8am – 6.30pm

Your role –

• Working across 1-2 practices across the week
• May be some need for remote work, in which you would be working remotely from one of the other practice sites
• 6 months cover
• 15 minute appointments (longer for polypharmacy reviews)
• Admin time given to ensure admin and tasks are completed
• May be asked to be involved with some QOF work too
• Duties to include Structured Medication Reviews, Medicine Reconciliation, Medicine Management Work, Eclipse Safety Alert Management, Managing Patient Queries
• You must be qualified and have full registration with the GPhC.
