Fixed-term Salaried GP (Maternity Cover)

This role is for a March start though April or May may also be considered. It would be for 12-months but with very good scope of a permanent role being available upon the completion of the contract.

Salary – from £11,300 per session, experience dependent

Location – Portishead

The surgery –

• Stable, well-respected GP training practice
• Pleasant demographic with very little deprivation and a good range of ages
• Very sociable practice with coffee break every morning
• Outstanding staff retention
• Purpose-built premises with on-site parking
• EMIS practice

Your role –

• Fixed-term Salaried GP, covering maternity
• 4-6 sessions, flexible on days
• 13 patients per session
• 15-minute appointments
• Rotating between routine clinics, visiting clinics (one a fortnight perhaps) and triage clinics (2-3 GPs working together triaging incoming requests)
• Flexible start and finish times
• No home visits except for when you are the visiting GP
• No evenings or weekend required (can opt-in for extra pay)

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
