The Practice

• Large, well-established two-site Training Practice in a semi-rural Hertfordshire setting
• Strong continuity-based model with patient allocation rather than fully pooled working
• Extensive MDT including ANPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers and mental health support
• Excellent workflow optimisation significantly reducing GP admin
• Supportive and collaborative culture with strong GP retention
• Purpose-built premises with future expansion plans
• Experienced in supporting newly-qualified GPs and GP Registrars
• High QOF achievement and Good CQC rating
• Uses SystmOne

Your role

• Salaried GP / Fixed-Term Contract GP position for maternity cover
• 6 sessions available
• Preferred days Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with some flexibility
• Possibility of occasional remote working
• Structured and manageable duty model with strong support systems
• Continuity-focused clinics with a balanced workload
• Approx. 18 appointments in morning clinics with lighter afternoons
• Minimal home visits
• Opportunity to work across both sites where required
• Suitable for both experienced and newly-qualified GPs

Salary and Benefits

• Sessional rate from £11,000 per session
• BMA-equivalent contract
• Indemnity cover provided
• NHS Pension
• 6 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• 1 week study leave pro rata
