Job Summary

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly built, close-knit family practice on Vancouver’s popular west side, with earnings in the region of CAD $400,000 (approximately £215,000) and a generous 75/25 fee split. The Practice

• Newly built clinic on Arbutus Street in Kitsilano, part of a small group with sister sites in Calgary and Edmonton, giving GPs the backing of a larger organisation within a single-site team.
• A close-knit, growing team, with dedicated billing support in place to help physicians maximise their earnings.
• Genuinely cutting-edge digital tools, not typically seen in general practice, thanks to the owner’s background in AI technology.
• A young, professional and university-educated patient base, giving GPs an engaged and well-informed population to work with.
• Flexible appointment slots of 10 to 15 minutes, with complete freedom to book longer where clinically needed.
• LFP payment option available for GPs who prefer a predictable, panel-based income.

Location Overview

The practice is based in Kitsilano, one of Vancouver’s most sought-after west side neighbourhoods, just steps from Kitsilano Beach and its heated saltwater outdoor pool. The car-free Arbutus Greenway runs the length of the neighbourhood for walking and cycling, while West 4th Avenue offers independent cafes and boutique shopping on your doorstep. Downtown Vancouver is around 15 minutes away, making this an easy commute without sacrificing a beachside lifestyle, and a new SkyTrain station is due to open close to the clinic in 2027. Vanier Park’s museums, the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre and the summer Shakespeare festival add a cultural dimension for the whole family.

Skills and Requirements

• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and eligible for registration with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
• MRCGP or equivalent qualification
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
