Salaried GP

Background

This is an excellent opportunity for a Salaried GP to join a forward-thinking, training practice that is investing in additional clinical capacity. With strong clinical leadership, modern systems and a genuinely supportive culture, the practice is seeking a GP to become part of a stable, long-standing team with opportunities to develop specialist interests and potentially progress to Partnership in the future.

The Practice

• Mid-sized practice with a diverse and complex patient demographic
• Highly supportive Partnership with long tenure and minimal turnover
• GP Training Practice hosting registrars, medical and nursing students
• Strong MDT including ANPs, pharmacists, HCAs and specialist nurses
• High QOF achievement and well-organised systems with heavy automation
• Total triage model with efficient workflow and low admin burden
• Purpose-built health centre with on-site parking
• Collaborative PCN relationships and strong external engagement

Your role

• Salaried GP, 4–6 sessions
• List-holding role with structured, supported onboarding
• 15-minute appointments, mixture of face-to-face and telephone
• Circa 14 patients per session
• Dedicated admin session once fully established
• Shared home visiting rota (low volume)
• No traditional duty doctor model – evenly distributed workload
• Opportunity to develop specialist interests (e.g. frailty, men’s health)
• Strong support for newly qualified GPs and career development
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List

Salary and Benefits

• £12,000 – £14,500 per session (DOE)
• 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + birthday off
