Locum GP – 6 month cover, Swindon

We are currently supporting a respected training practice in the Swindon area that is looking to appoint a Locum GP for a 6 -month period starting from August. The practice is well organised and offers a collaborative working environment, with strong support from both clinical and administrative teams, enabling high-quality care for the local population.

Salary £700 – £800 per day
Location – Swindon

The surgery –
• Training practice
• Supportive team of GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Clinical and non-clinical supporting staff
• c.13,500 patients
• CQC Good
• SystmOne

Your role –
• Locum GP role for 6 months
• Starting from August 2026
• Required days Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• 8.30am – 6pm standard day
• 15-minute appointments
• 12 appointments per session
• Home visits
• Participation in the Duty rota would be required – Duty till 18.30pm
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
