Salaried GP, Burton-upon-Trent

Background –

This is an outstanding and unique opportunity to work as a Salaried GP in an extremely well-run, forward-thinking, training practice in Burton-upon-Trent. The practice has made excellent progress in recent months and is now in a prime position to recruit another GP.

There is an exceptionally reasonable workload of 21, 28 or 30 patients per day – depending on the day. You’ll also benefit from a paid coffee break each morning and embargoed continuity slots.

The Practice cannot consider out-of-area GPs, unless specifically relocating locally, and Tier 2 visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary – £10,500 – £11,500 per session + Indemnity paid + BMA contract + 7 weeks’ leave

Location – Burton-upon-Trent

The surgery –

• Forward-thinking practice which has made excellent progress over recent years
• Very dynamic, able to adapt and make decisions quickly
• Well-connected locally with PCN and CCG
• GP Training Practice
• Heavily reduced GP workload
• Successful strict protocols/processes in place, vibrant team
• Superb IT structure and support and organised practice

Your role –

• 4 – 8 sessions per week
• Heavily reduced workload
• 9-15 patient contacts per session
• Dedicated daily admin time
• Reasonable duty doctor day
• Minimal home visit requirement
• EMIS Practice
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List

The benefits –
