Locum Clinical Pharmacist, Remote

Background – A forward thinking practice based in Whitehaven, are looking for Locum Clinical Pharmacist support until March next year.  Great opportunity for a Prescribing Pharmacist to work remotely.  They are offering full time hours with an immediate start.

Your role will be to provide primary support to general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries including repeat prescriptions, deal with acute prescription requests, and medicines reconciliation on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing, providing expertise in clinical medicines advice while addressing both public and social care needs of patient.

Salary – £30-35 per hour

Location – Whitehaven, Remote

The surgery –

• Large Rural practice in Whitehaven
• Skilled and supportive team
• EMIS Practice

Your role –

• Provide Clinical medication reviews
• Supporting with common acute and long term conditions
• Management of minor ailments
• Meds management
• You must be qualified and have full registration with the GPhC
• You will need to be a Prescriber and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
• You should have completed or be working towards your CPPE pathway
• Must have access to EMIS remotely – laptops not provided
