Job Summary

An excellent opportunity for a GP to join a long-established, partner-owned practice with over 30 years of history and a strong standing in the local community. This is a busy, mixed billing clinic with immediate patient demand, currently turning patients away even prior to the upcoming retirement of a longstanding husband-and-wife GP team. The incoming GP will walk into a full and flexible patient load, with the ability to shape their schedule and pursue special interests. With high earning potential and established operational systems, this role suits a doctor seeking both stability and growth within a respected family practice setting.

The Practice

This established, partner-owned clinic has been operating for over 30 years and is led by six working partners within a team of nine doctors, supported by four nurses. The facility includes an operating room, on-site pharmacy, four treatment rooms, and eight consulting rooms, with one currently available due to upcoming GP retirements. The practice has a strong local reputation and a loyal, multi-generational patient base, with demand so high that patients are already being turned away. It provides comprehensive walk-in and family medicine services, including preventative health, skin checks, mental health, sexual health, minor surgery, vaccinations, and more. Appointments are typically 10 minutes, with flexibility for GPs to determine their workload, with some seeing up to 50 patients per day. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am–1:00pm. Conveniently located near Anzac Park, residential areas, and strong transport links, the clinic offers both accessibility and strong earning potential, with typical fortnightly billings of $17,000–$20,000.
