Salaried GP, near Kidderminster

A personal list of around 1,400 patients for a 7-session GP, 14 contacts per session and a visiting team that takes on most home visits. Total triage and capped duty sessions mean the work reaching you has already been filtered. A modern purpose-built building and a settled, cohesive team complete the picture.

Location

The practice is in north Worcestershire, near Kidderminster. Worcester around 30 minutes, Halesowen around 30 minutes, and Solihull around 45 minutes. Parking is available on site.

The Practice

• GP Training Practice with links to two medical schools, supporting students and registrars
• Modern purpose-built building with 32 consulting and treatment rooms, air conditioning and staff showers
• Large practice with a large partnership team and a large salaried GP team
• Wide multidisciplinary team including ANPs, a paramedic, physician associates, nurses, on-site physiotherapy and allocated clinical pharmacists
• Supportive, cohesive team culture with strong staff retention
• Patient survey results well above the national average
• CQC rated Good

Your Role

• Salaried GP, 6 sessions per week
• Personal list, well below typical benchmarks
• 14 contacts per session, with 15-minute face-to-face and 10-minute telephone appointments
• Total triage model with care navigators and a dedicated triage GP team
• Duty sessions are capped on the number of contacts
• Home visits largely handled by a dedicated visiting nurse practitioner team
• Scope to develop special interests, with clinical lead roles open to salaried GPs
• Newly qualified GPs genuinely welcome, and visa sponsorship available

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £11,500 per session
• 6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of PDP time
• Protected monthly PDP session, pro-rated to sessions worked
• Professional fees covered
• NHS Pension
• BMA model contract

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
