Job Summary

This is a rare opportunity to build your own patient panel from scratch in one of Calgary’s most desirable university neighbourhoods, with established GPs here billing towards CAD $600,000 (approx. £325,000) a year once settled. You’ll get full back-office support from day one, a $15,000 signing bonus and a ready-made referral network of in-house specialists.

The Practice

• Independent FFS practice where you build and own your own patient panel, with full autonomy over how you grow your list and shape your working week.
• One of four sister sites across Calgary run by the same group, with the option to visit all four in person before deciding which to join.
• In-house paediatrics and neurology specialists accept direct referrals from GPs working in the same building, giving instant access to specialist opinion.
• An on-site pharmacy gives your patients same-building access to prescriptions and travel vaccinations.
• Weighted heavily towards 5-star reviews on Google, with patients consistently praising the clinic’s cleanliness, professionalism and follow-through.

Benefits

• CAD $600,000 (approx. £325,000) annual billing potential once your panel is fully established, typically reached within nine to twelve months.

Location Overview

Brentwood sits directly alongside the University of Calgary, with Nose Hill Park – one of the largest urban parks in North America – right on the doorstep for walking, running and wide-open city views. The Brentwood C-Train station puts you a direct 20-minute ride from downtown Calgary, while Northland Village Mall and the university campus bring cafes, shops and everyday life within walking distance. It’s a settled, family-friendly neighbourhood, and for weekend adventures, the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park are around 90 minutes’ drive from the city. There’s easy access to everything a growing city has to offer, all within a genuinely walkable, community-focused setting.

Skills and Requirements

• Qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP or an equivalent qualification.
• Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Comfortable building an independent panel over six to twelve months.
• Strong communication skills across a broad, general practice caseload.
