We are delighted to announce the winners and highly commended Primary Care Stars for last quarter!
We had over 60 nominations, and as always it is so hard to pick the winners and highly commended as everyone is so deserving.
Primary Care Stars Winners!
Alex Prince, Reception Manager
Alex stepped into a role for 6 month to support the practice while a colleague was away. They have been described as “an amazing colleague, employee and friend.”
Dr Rod Sampson, GP
Rod and the team at Cairn Medical practice have helped and supported team members, and Rod has been described as “just been utterly fantastic, supportive and helped me”.
Highly Commended:
Dr Kartar Lal, GP
Kartar has been a registrar at the surgery for a year and in that time has completed many additional qualifications and described as “we found him to be a very sympathetic, kind, and understanding Doctor. We have since returned twice, as a follow up, and on each occasion we have received a first class service from him”
Dr Mark Harney, GP Partner
Mark has been a GP for 32 years and described as “Dr Harney is one of the hardest working, most dedicated GP consultants any of his colleagues have ever worked with. He is kind and compassionate and has been caring for his patients and families in Connah’s Quay for decades. His dedication to his work goes way above and beyond.”
Reagan Slater, Clinical Administrator
Reagan was nominated and received the highly commended because “Reagan has been instrumental in clearing 5 years’ backlog in Patient Records to get us to being only 4 months behind target.”
Debbie Ryalls, Operations Manager
Debbie was nominated and received the highly commended award because “Debbie is operations manager and does so much behind the scenes to ensure the smooth sailing of our ship. Is willing to put her hand to everything and anything and is a real team player and fantastic support”
Rachel Tate, Nurse Practitioner
Rachel has been nominated and received the highly commended award for “She is the first person staff turn too for help and often the person patients ask for. We could not be without her!”
