NHS Fife to start resuming non urgent care

NHS Fife have announced that Primary Care and Mental health are to be some of the first to start resuming non urgent care. This follows the steps in March to stop all non-urgent services.

Mental Health

Mental Health charity, Mind, have found that 25% of people who have sought mental health support during lockdown have been unable to get the help they needed. They have also found that 22% of adults who took the survey conducted by Mind, said their mental health had deteriorated since lockdown.

Nurses to retrain for Primary Care

Five training hubs have been implemented across Northamptonshire to train nurses who want to work in General Practice. The training starts in September and will combine University courses along with training in a GP Practice.
