Can GPs admin work be automated?

The first article we looked at this week, was one regarding GP admin workload. The article said that over half GPs admin workload could be automated.

GPs are facing increased pressure of late. As patients begin to return to practices, the backlog is putting GPs under pressure. If some of this pressure could be reduced by the automation of admin work, this would be beneficial to them.

NHS post-Covid

The pandemic has changed the NHS. Can the NHS cope in the next few months / years? Without a vaccine, experts have warned that infection control for patients seeking help for other ailments, will be a problem. The time it will take to keep on top of infection control will have a knock-on effect for routine and unexpected appointments.

CQC inspections to resume this Autumn

CQC routine inspection were stopped in March due to the ongoing situation with COVID. They have now announce that these will start again this Autumn.
