Locum ANP

We are currently recruiting a Locum ANP to support a well-established practice with a very supportive and experienced MDT. The practice is able to accommodate a start date as soon as possible and the position is likely to last around six months.

Candidates should have previous primary care experience, be an independent prescriber, and be confident using SystmOne. You will be comfortable working autonomously, including prescribing and clinical decision-making, and will be supported by an experienced in-house team of salaried GPs, nurses, and non-clinical staff.

This is a full time role, however, the practice would consider two part time ANP’s instead. The workload is mostly acute, on the day presentations with some more complex appointments where longer appoint times are given, for example, mental health appointments.

• 10 minute appointments
• SystmOne

Your role –

• Locum ANP
• Cover for six months – Mondays and Fridays are essential
• Typically acute, on the day presentations
• Longer appointment times given to more complex appointments like Mental Health, etc
• 10 minute appointments
• Home visits may occasionally be required – have a Paramedic who does majority
• Structured time for admin
• Prescribe independently within the scope of professional practice, ensuring safe and effective patient care
• Primary Care experience is essential
• Independent Prescribing is essential
• Experience working on SystmOne is essential
• You must be qualified for this role and be registered with the NMC
