Led by a UK-trained GP owner, it offers a familiar working culture and income that grows directly with your pace.

The Practice

• Opened in January 2026 as an expansion of an established group with a proven track record of running busy, high-earning clinics across multiple locations.
• Around 500 patients already waiting, with both current doctors fully booked – your list fills from day one.
• Medical Office Assistants handle vital signs, forms and patient preparation before every consultation, so your time goes on clinical decision-making rather than paperwork.
• Modern 12-room facility in a busy shopping centre with an on-site pharmacy and strong walk-in traffic, particularly in summer.
• FHG model with full clinical autonomy over how you practise and earnings that rise directly with your productivity.

Benefits

• Existing Family Physicians are billing approx. CAD $80,000 per month (approx. £45,000) gross at standard appointment lengths.
• Higher-throughput doctors have exceeded CAD $100,000 per month (approx. £55,000) – the more patients you see, the more you earn.
• Tiered fee split rising to 80/20 once monthly billings pass CAD $50,000 (approx. £25,000), 75/25 below that.
• Flexible hours – set your own start and finish times anywhere between 9am and 8pm.
• Appointments of 10 to 15 minutes, set to suit your own pace.
• CAD $8,000 relocation allowance (approx. £4,300) to help with the move to Canada.
• Work permit support via LMIA or C10 routes, arranged by the practice.
• Hands-on help with housing and buying a car through the practice’s local estate agent and dealership contacts.
• A UK-trained owner who personally supports every new doctor through the move, with interviews arranged across time zones.

Location Overview

Barry’s Bay sits on the shore of Kamaniskeg Lake in Ontario’s Madawaska Valley, known as the gateway to the renowned wilderness of Algonquin Park, with its pristine lakes, canoe routes, hiking trails and camping. Summers bring beaches, boating and whitewater rafting nearby, while winter opens up some of Ontario’s best snowmobile trails, plenty of cross-country skiing and outdoor skating rinks. In town, Water Tower Park is home to the last remaining wooden water tower in Ontario, and the waterfront beach draws families throughout the summer. It is a close-knit community with a rich heritage – neighbouring Wilno is the oldest Polish settlement in Canada – and Ottawa is around two hours’ drive away.

Skills and Requirements

• MRCGP or equivalent qualification.
• Eligibility for College of Family Physicians of Canada certification.
• Comfortable with a busy, high-volume primary care list and motivated by earning potential.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
