Current billings point to full-time gross earnings of AUD $500,000-$850,000 (approx. £265,000-£450,000), alongside a team of internationally trained GPs who know exactly what your move involves.

The Practice

• An established, family-owned practice with a 7-star rating from over 250 Google reviews, caring for a loyal, multicultural patient base of all ages for the past 12 years.
• 15-minute appointments as standard – no volume targets, just thorough, continuous care, with clear boundaries in place for drug-seeking behaviour.
• Every GP on the team is internationally trained, so you’ll join colleagues who have made the same move and are genuinely invested in helping you settle, clinically and culturally.
• Led by an experienced GP principal who sits on the RACGP supervision accreditation panel, with a strong commitment to GP education and a collegiate, supportive culture.
• Mixed billing, on-site pathology for faster results, and scope to develop special interests in skin cancer medicine, minor surgery, women’s health and aged care.

Benefits

• Full-time gross billings of AUD $500,000-$850,000 (approx. £265,000-£450,000), based on current billings at the practice.
• A 65/35 billing split with transparent billing and no hidden deductions.
• A minimum hourly guarantee of AUD $160-$170 (approx. £85-£90) for your first three months while your list builds.
• A fully booked practice with a stable, loyal patient population – demand is not an issue.
• No after-hours rostering currently in place, so your evenings stay your own.
• Visa sponsorship from a principal who understands the costs involved, with documentation support and liaison with migration specialists.
• Accommodation assistance – the principal lives locally and can help with rental or purchase arrangements.
• Family settling-in support, including local knowledge on schools, including multicultural options in nearby Keysborough, and suburbs.
• Flexible working patterns to suit your family and professional priorities.
• Mentoring from experienced IMG colleagues through your transition to Australian general practice.

Carrum Downs sits in Melbourne’s south-east, with Seaford and Carrum beaches within 10 km for summer swimming, water sports and seaside walks. The internationally significant Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands are just 5 km away for nature walks and birdwatching, while the Mornington Peninsula’s wineries, galleries and coastal trails are a 20-minute drive via Peninsula Link. Skills and Requirements

• MRCGP or equivalent qualifications.
• AMC and RACGP registration (or eligibility).
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• An interest in skin cancer medicine or women’s health is an advantage.
