Job Summary

This is a rare opportunity to build a full patient panel in one of Vancouver’s busiest waterfront neighbourhoods, with guaranteed footfall from day one, a 75/25 fee split, and a $10,000 CAD (approx. £5,000) relocation bonus paid on your first day. A newly renovated clinic sits directly on English Bay beach, minutes from Stanley Park.

The Practice

• Guaranteed footfall – the clinic sits directly on English Bay beach in one of Vancouver’s most densely populated neighbourhoods, with heavy year-round tourist footfall on top of a strong local population.
• Walk-in plus panel-building model – see patients from day one while you build a long-term panel, with a full panel of 20-30 patients a day typically reached within three to four months.
• Newly renovated clinic, backed by a $100,000 CAD landlord investment in new flooring, paint and lighting, with an on-site pharmacy running 12 hours a day.
• Structured mentoring from the Medical Director, with regular billing reviews built in – one clinician’s billing rose by 25% after review.

Location Overview

The clinic sits in Vancouver’s West End, wedged between downtown’s financial district and Stanley Park, with English Bay Beach and its summer Celebration of Light fireworks festival just a short walk away. Stanley Park’s 8.8km seawall gives direct access to walking and cycling right from your door, while Denman Street’s independent cafes and restaurants run from the clinic to the park entrance. A few blocks south, Davie Village is Western Canada’s largest LGBTQ+ community hub, and the downtown core itself is a 10 to 15 minute walk with direct transit and seawall access.

Skills and Requirements

• MRCGP or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility for registration with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
• Comfortable working a walk-in plus panel-building model in a busy, transient, downtown location
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care
