Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 (DOE)

A well-established small animal hospital in South Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and motivated team.

• Full-time = 37.5 hours across 4 days or 5 shorter days
• 1 in 4 weekends, one day only

Facilities & equipment:

• Separate dental and orthopaedic theatres
• Digital radiography, including dental
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• In-house IDEXX laboratory
• 24-hour on-site nursing team

The role:

• First opinion small animal caseload
• Strong surgical exposure, including orthopaedics
• Work cases up to a high standard in house
• Clinical autonomy encouraged
• Opportunity to mentor junior vets

The team:

A collaborative, experienced and forward-thinking team within an independent, Tier 2 Training Practice. Known for strong client relationships, a loyal client base and a genuine focus on clinical standards and team development.
