    Job Summary:

    An outstanding opportunity is available for a British-trained General Practitioner looking to relocate to Invercargill, New Zealand. This respected, community-owned medical practice offers the rare chance to step into a well-established, deeply trusted clinic with generations of loyal patients and sustained demand. It provides the ideal environment for a GP seeking meaningful clinical work, true work-life balance, and the stability to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

    The Practice:

    Serving a population of approximately 5,700, the practice is proudly community-trust owned and operates on a non-profit model that prioritises its patients, which is an ethos that has earned strong local loyalty, with some families attending for over 60 years. The team is supportive, welcoming, and highly collegial, with excellent staff retention (92% over six years) and a genuine emphasis on wellbeing and preventing burnout. Clinicians enjoy seamless collaboration with nearby district nursing, physiotherapy, and podiatry services, alongside modern systems such as HealthOne and established telehealth options. It is an environment designed to help new GPs thrive.

    Benefits:

    • FTE earnings approx. $260,000 NZD (38–40 hours per week)

    Key Skills and Requirements:
