Primary Care and the Menopause

Understanding Menopause and Primary Care

The subject of the Menopause, treatments and misconceptions surrounding this topic has been highlighted a lot over the last year. The conversation was boosted in the media by the documentary “Davina McCall: Sex, Myths and the Menopause”. This documentary, first shown in May 2021, aimed to highlight the subject of the menopause, and how so many women are experiencing symptoms and not getting the help that they need. Gaining a better understanding

At Menlo Park, we work closely with Primary Care practices throughout the UK, as well as professionals working within Primary Care. We decided that we wanted to gain a better understanding of how the menopause and Primary Care work together at the moment.

We recently launched a survey, asking UK clinicians about their experiences, training and perception of how the menopause is perceived by the public. We have already had a huge response to the survey and we will be realising the results over the coming months.

You still have a chance to complete our survey, by clicking the below link.

Make sure to follow us on social media so you don’t miss any results when they are released. Everyone who completes the survey will get a full copy of the results once published.
