The Practice

• More than 20 years in operation, recently refurbished and expanded to add additional consultation rooms and operating theatres.
• Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as digital x-ray, colour Doppler ultrasound, and a comprehensive suite of diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to clinical freedom and high standards of care with very low complication rates.
• Emphasises teamwork, learning from one another, and open communication, highly praised by the Royal College during inspections.

Your Role

• Manage a diverse range of surgical and medical cases, including complex orthopaedics and cardiology with support from visiting specialists.
• Handle significant surgical operations daily, with the scope to involve in procedures like cruciate ligament repairs, cystotomies, and oncological surgeries.
• Work collaboratively within a team where knowledge sharing and mutual support are encouraged, ensuring you are never making decisions in isolation.
• Join a team of 12 veterinary surgeons, including two partners, with interests spanning across surgery and medicine.
• Supported by over 20 (!) experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), creating a highly organised and efficient working environment.
• An inclusive, no-cliques atmosphere where learning and professional growth are part of the daily routine.
• Work only 12 days in a 21-day period, promoting an excellent work-life balance with regular long weekends.
• Paid 30-minute lunch breaks included in the contractual working hours.
