Salaried GPwER Medical Student Teaching

Background – 

You will be joining a successful GP Training Practice in an idyllic village setting on the edge of the Mendip Hills.

The practice is very well thought of by their local community as well as their trainees as evidenced by their retention of ST3s through to Salaried GPs and ultimately Partnership – over half of the current Partners were one-time trainees at the practice. 

To compliment their GP Training, they are also becoming more heavily involved in medical student teaching and they are now looking for a new GP to specifically look after medical students on Wednesdays, with an additional day/two half days of clinics to fill out the role.

The practice offers the ideal mix of traditional, community values as well as dynamism and forward thinking attitudes with over half of the Partners under 40. 

Salary – c£11,000 per session plus indemnity and BMA contract

Location – Chew Valley area, easily commutable from Bristol and Bath

• Successful Training practice with excellent feedback from trainees and patients

Your role – 

• Salaried GPwER Teaching
• 4 sessions per week to include Wednesdays
• 2 sessions of medical student teaching with University-provided syllabus
• Routine clinics consisting of 12 patients per session
• 15 minute appointments
• On-call responsibilities, if applicable, are half days only
