Salary – c£11,500 per session

Location – North Hampshire, between Reading and Basingstoke

The surgery –

• GP Training Practice with numerous Trainers
• Purpose-built (Partner-owned) premises
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
  • Clinical support team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioner, MSK, Pharmacists, Health & Wellbeing Coaches and Wellbeing Practitioners
  • Administrative support team of highly-trained Read Coders – outstanding workflow processes
  • Two-tier acute care – 1-2 GPs leading triage and 1 GP seeing acute patients – ensures an easier day for all by spreading the responsibilities
• Pleasant demographic – nice mix of young families and older patients
• Heavily encourage specialist interests to provide variety
• EMIS Web

Your role –

• Salaried GP (optional view to Partnership)
• Ideally 6 sessions but could be flexible
• Very manageable workload
  • 10 x 15-20-minute F2F appointments
  • 5 x GP-controlled phone calls ie. untimed
• Whole team coffee break every morning and often have team lunch too
• No evenings/weekends
• Very few if any home visits
• Managing your own patients – excellent continuity of care
