Our client is a friendly, close-knit and well-run GP surgery with a genuine family-feel culture, where teamwork, approachability and sustainability are at the heart of daily working life. This is a small, supportive practice that prides itself on being well-staffed, highly organised and an enjoyable place to work.

With a very manageable workload, longer appointment times, and strong MDT support – including an experienced Paramedic Practitioner handling the vast majority of home visits – this role offers an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking balance, stability and a welcoming team environment.

You will benefit from regular catch-ups, shared breaks (including twice-daily coffee breaks organised by the admin team!), pooled lists to reduce pressure, and an informal, open-door culture with the Partner. The practice is forward-thinking, open to developing specialist interests, and is continuously improving its systems and workflows to support clinicians.

  • Forward-thinking approach with interest in online triage and service development

Your Role –

  • Salaried GP
  • Ideally 6 sessions (flexibility to consider 4–6 sessions)
  • Suitable for both newly qualified and more experienced GPs
  • Average 25 patient contacts per day
  • 15-minute face-to-face appointments
  • Pooled patient lists
  • Approximately 30 minutes of admin time per session built in
  • Structured clinics with built-in catch-up slots
  • Duty Doctor rota (triage-based, with a reduced clinic and strong admin support)
  • No extended access commitment
  • Open to GPs with specialist interests (women’s health or minor surgery welcomed but not essential)
  • Looking for a sociable, reliable team player who values good practice culture and collaboration
  • You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List

The Benefits –
