We’re delighted to be working with a genuinely supportive and forward-thinking GP practice, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Salaried GP looking to thrive in a team-focused environment. As a teaching practice, they work closely with Medical Students and FY2s, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. The team actively encourages the development of special interests and provides the support needed to help clinicians grow and progress. They truly value work satisfaction, ensuring workloads are realistic and allow for high-quality, holistic patient-focused care. You’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team that prioritises communication and connection — with regular clinical meetings, whole-team catch-ups, and even lunch breaks together to share ideas and build strong relationships. The practice also embraces innovation, continually investing in technology and new ways of working to improve both patient care and clinician efficiency.

Salary – £11,000 + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + BMA contract

Location – Hailsham

The surgery –

• Teaching practice – actively involved with Medical Students and FY2s
• Supportive environment – encouragement to develop and pursue special interests
• Work-life balance – manageable workloads that support quality clinical care – 15 minute F2F appointments, limited admin workload.
• Team-focused culture – regular clinical and whole-team meetings, plus sociable lunch breaks
• Collaborative learning – open case discussions and shared knowledge across the team
• Forward-thinking – investment in technology and new systems to improve efficiency. This has enabled a more efficient, effective triaging process to manage patients more effectively and reduce the number of patient appointments – 25 appointment per day.
• Strong, experienced Multi-Disciplinary team, including ANP with special interest, Paramedic, Clinical Prescribing Pharmacist
• Welcoming atmosphere – friendly, inclusive team where everyone feels valued.

Your role

• 5 sessions – Wednesday and Friday full days, Thursday morning session.
• 25 appointments per day.
• Home visiting looked after by Paramedic
• Reduced admin – 10-12 documents / letters to action daily.
• To be part of a long-standing, stable team.
• Progression to lead in a clinical special interest.
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
