Salaried GP

Background –

Do you dread a long day of Duty and want to work in a practice that has scrapped the Duty set-up?

Salary – £11,875 – £12,500 per session

Location – Barnstaple area, North Devon

The surgery –

• Medium-sized practices
• Excellent GP feedback
• Incredibly involved locally including community outreach schemes – working ‘with’ their patients rather than ‘for’ them
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
  • Workflow as optimised as it can be – ‘we’ve gone as far as we can with it’
  • Virtually no home visits
  • No Duty Doctor!
• One-site working (no branch surgeries) and GPs get their own room
• SystmOne practice                                                                    

Your role –

• Salaried GP
• 4 or more sessions
• Fllexible start and finish times
• Very reasonable workload
  • 14 patients per session – 4 pre-bookable, 2 GP book-only, 8 same-day
  • 15 minutes available for all
• 45 minutes admin time at the end of each session
• No Duty Doctor
• Doctors’ coffee every morning and catch-up slots included too
