Practice Nurse

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join a genuinely forward-thinking and well respected GP surgery in Birkenhead for 30-37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. The practice is very well-established and highly respected GP training practice with a super staff retention rate, based in a spacious, purpose built building with a spacious car park. The practice benefits from a long standing Partnership and varied MDT offering plenty of support and progression opportunities.

They are looking for a Practice Nurse, ideally experienced with respiratory, to join the small Practice Nurse team on a permanent basis. The practice is very supportive of career progression and development and happy to help support with prescribing, etc, if desired. This is a superb opportunity for a Practice Nurse with a very supportive, single site GP practice!

Salary – £37,000 – £44,850 per annum (£19-£23 per hour) DOE + NHS pension + 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Indemnity + Ad Hoc Study

Strong CQC and QOF history

Your role –

• Have strong Primary Care experience as well as experience with respiratory conditions
• Benefit from a very supportive team around you
• Be experienced with the traditional practice nurse duties
• No extended hours required
• See a mix of treatment room duties as well as focus on Chronic Disease Management (ideally respiratory)
• Work alongside an established team of other Practice Nurses
• 30-37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis
• Flexibility around exact days
• See all ages
