Practice Nurse

A fantastic Practice Nurse opportunity in a very supportive and forward-thinking GP surgery. You have the chance to join this lovely team who are passionate about helping develop their staff wherever possible, offering ample dedicated admin time, regular coffee breaks and streamlined workload.

The partnership has excelled in retaining staff, renowned for the work-life balance they offer alongside the support. This is a traditional Practice Nurse role where you will have the chance to focus on asthma and diabetes, smears, wounds, baby and child immunisations, long-term conditions, and more!

You’ll also be accompanied by a superb leadership team that continuously listens and intends to be a pillar of support for the whole clinical and non-clinical team.

The Practice:

• A modern purpose-built facility
• Foster a forward-thinking environment, serving as a passionate training practice.
• Admin responsibilities are shared equally among staff, with care navigators actively involved, and utilise the Emis Web computer system.
• Boast a supportive and organised work culture, with generally good staff retention.

 

Your Role:

• Very reasonable workload
• Traditional role, including smears, baby/child imms, wound care, dressings, asthma, diabetes travel clinics and more.
• Different ailments are allocated different appointment lengths
• Specialist interests encouraged, including Asthma and Diabetes
• PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE – REQUIREMENT
