Practice Manager

Background

A well-established group of GP Training Practices in Tameside, rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, is looking to hire an experienced Primary Care Practice Manager. If you’re aiming for career progression, this is an excellent opportunity. The practice is committed to supporting your professional development, offering opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and achieve greater financial rewards.

With a strong management team already in place, you won’t be solely responsible for all aspects typically associated with the role, despite overseeing five sites. The focus will be on your ability to manage and develop a capable team.

The management structure includes a Senior Partner, two Clinical Leads (with two more in training), a Group Operations Manager, and a Clinical Manager. Across the practices, there are 21 GPs, 8 nurses, and a strong presence of Allied Health Professionals, including clinical pharmacists.

The practice operates on EMIS Web and collectively serves a patient population of around 33,200.

 

Salary

• £50k – £60k FTE (Could be room to negotiate upwards depending on experience)
