Long Covid GP, Gloucester

Background –

This is an outstanding and unique opportunity to work as a Long Covid GP in an extremely well-run organisation in Gloucester.

The role will be for 2 days / 4 sessions per week – One day will be comprised of 8 x 60-minute consultations, and the next day (which could be remote) will be comprised of write-ups.

Salary – £11,900 – £13,000 per session + Indemnity paid + BMA contract + 7 weeks’ leave

Location – Central Gloucester

The service –

• Forward-thinking practice service, recently taken over the long-term Covid contract
• Very dynamic, able to adapt and make decisions quickly
• Well-connected locally with PCN and CCG
• Successful strict protocols/processes in place, vibrant team
• Superb IT structure and support and organised practice

Your role –

• 4 sessions per week
• Heavily reduced workload (8 patients per day)
• 1-hour appointments
• No duty doctor / home visit requirement
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.

The benefits –

• £11,900 – £13,000 per session per annum, depending on experience

• 7 weeks’ leave (inc. 1 week study)
