Fixed-term Salaried GP (ARRS)

Background

We are recruiting for a fixed-term Salaried GP under the ARRS funding, for a forward-thinking Practice in East Birmingham. The contract will be for a 6-month fixed-term Salaried role, though extension into a longer-term role is possible for the right candidate if funding is confirmed beyond this point.

An incredibly innovative Practice, with passionate colleagues involved locally in Federations and the ICB. Development is actively encouraged, and you’ll be supported in the pursuit of specialist interests and involvement with local services and allied health organisations. The Practices within the PCN are very organised, so workflow is efficient and patient numbers are very realistic.

Unlike other PCN roles, you will be based in one Practice. There will be minimal visits, optional duty doctor and 15 appointments/session.

Salary

• £9,000 per session + Indemnity + NHS Pension + BMA contract

Your role

• 4 sessions per week (Flexible on days)
• £9,500 per session
• 30 patients per day
• 10-minute appointments, though 15-minutes also possible
• Optional duty doctor system
• Very admin light
• EMIS clinical system
• ARRS GP – must be within 2 years of CCT, and not have worked a substantive post before
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
