Clinical Lead GP, Milton Keynes

Background –

This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious GP looking for progression. As a Clinical Lead GP, you’ll work alongside the Practice’s senior management team to define the future of the Practice. Roughly 50% of your time will be clinical, with the remaining 50% being non-clinical management/leadership work. This is a dual site role, but with a minimal 20-minute drive between the 2 sites.

The Practice is a forward-thinking Training Practice, forging a new model of Primary Care. The practice is based in Milton Keynes and has an outstanding multi-disciplinary team comprising of ANPs, Prescribing Pharmacists and PNs/HCAs, alongside a strong GP team with minimal reliance on temporary staff.

You’ll benefit from an incredibly reasonable workload of 27 patients per day, alongside 15-minute face-to-face appointments.

Salary – £11,336 – £13,079 per session + 7 weeks’ leave + NHS pension + Indemnity

Your role –

• Clinical Lead GP
• Working closely with the senior management team and the PCN
• 6 – 10 sessions per week
• 27 patient contacts per day

• Time back in lieu for Duty Doctor day
