Background –

Superb opportunity to become part of an extremely supportive and forward thinking practice that is very well established and respected in the local area. As a Nurse Practitioner you will become part of the Primary Care Practitioner team and work alongside a very experienced MDT. Ideally looking for a Nurse Practitioner to cover 24 hours per week (3 days) and seeing purely the acute, on the day appointments. This is a very forward thinking practice always looking for ways to improve and develop and care for staff morale and as a result, have a superb staff retention rate!

Salary –  £49,000 – £52,500 per annum FTE (DOE) + NHS pension + 27 days annual leave + BH + Indemnity Paid

Location – Rugby

The surgery –

• Forward-thinking GP practice, very supportive of further progression and development opportunities
• Long-standing MDT, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs and more
• Very well-established within the community
• Keen to help you progress as a Nurse Practitioner
• Superb staff retention rate – some staff have been there for over 20 years

Your role –

• Need to be a prescriber
• Ideally 24 hours per week (3 days)
• 10 minute appointments
• Deal with solely acute, on the day, urgent appointments
• Get involved with some home visits
• Be part of the Primary Care Practitioner team
• No extended hours
